This policy explains what personal data Wrestler Fight Academy collects when you train with us, visit this website or join the roster — and what we do with it.
Short version: we only collect what we need to run your membership and keep you safe on the mat. We never sell your data.

Who we are
Wrestler Fight Academy (“Wrestler”, “we”, “us”) runs the gym at Unit 4, Riverside Works and this website. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect
Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you join the roster, book a session or get in touch.
Membership details: your plan, payment history, attendance and any membership freezes.
Training details: your discipline, experience level, weight class and coach notes, so we can match you safely in sparring and on fight cards.
Website data: basic analytics about how pages are used, collected only with your consent.

Health information
Before sparring or competing we ask about injuries and medical conditions. This is special category data, so we only collect it with your explicit consent, store it securely and share it only with the coaches and medical staff who need it.

How we use your data
To run your membership and take payments.
To plan classes, sparring and fight cards that are safe for your level.
To send you timetable changes and fight-night updates — you can unsubscribe at any time.
To meet our legal, insurance and safeguarding obligations.

Juniors
For members under 18 we collect a parent or guardian’s details and consent. Junior data is only visible to their coaches and our safeguarding lead.

Who we share data with
Payment providers who process membership fees, our email provider for updates, governing bodies when we register you for a licensed bout, and medical staff on fight nights. Each only receives what they need to do their job. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it
Membership and payment records are kept for six years after you leave, for accounting purposes. Training and health information is deleted 12 months after your membership ends. Roster sign-ups that never become members are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@wrestler.gym and we’ll respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
